  • Materials cannot be checked out by the Fort Leavenworth community at this moment; this community will be notified when the policy changes.
  • DVD’s, audio books, games, fiction, or children’s material will be accommodated when possible on a reservation basis.
  • Library due dates are suspended, and patrons are welcome to keep their items until further notice.
  • In-demand digitization services of print materials are supported from CARL's Archives and Special Collections.
  • Interlibrary loan may be limited due to state- and country-wide closures.
  • CARL databases are available 24/7. A CARL library card is required to access databases outside the physical confines of the library.
  • Librarians are available to assist with research and reference questions by email, Monday-Friday, 0900-1500.
  • Patrons who need to bring in (1) roughly 20 or fewer returned items (if more, click on the above Library Book Return icon)  and/or (2) replacement copies for lost or damaged materials will be able to do so through the main entrance doors (north side) of CARL between 0900-1500. One of the glass doors has a posted sign that lists the telephone number for the Circulation department for you to call. Patrons are urged to first call ahead to the library to confirm the library's availability in such matters.
